Samantha (Chelmsford)

Seeking a gaming group

18, played lots and lots of D&D in my teen years, mostly as a GM, but currently between groups. I'm happy to play more D&D but I'd really enjoy trying out other games like Call of Cthuhlu etc. I'd prefer to join a group as a player as my free time has been gradually dwindling as exam season approaches xD I'm available any time on weekends though so please contact me if you can play at those times!

monaevisa (Grays Thurrock)

Seeking a book club

Hi! Over the past year, I’ve really gotten into romantasy, and I’ve been loving the mix of magical worlds and emotional storylines. I also enjoy general romance and crime/thriller novels—basically anything with strong characters and a plot that keeps me turning pages. I’m looking to join a book group to make friends, connect with others who enjoy reading as much as I do, discover new titles I might not pick up on my own, and have fun discussing different perspectives. I'd love to meet up about once a month if possible, and I’m open to both in-person and virtual chats.

Mike (Basildon)

Seeking a gaming group

I am a mature person in my autumn/winter years of life (68yrs old) and have wanted to learn to play DnD for many years now. When my wife was alive we always had an active social life with friends, but when my wife passed all our friends just closed their doors on me. I am now trying to meet and make new friends, but alas our local council has closed all social clubs down and there is nothing in Thurrock for over 20's, unless you count the pubs; and I'm not really a drinker. At first I thought DnD was for kids but having watched a documentary on tv, American doctors have found that getting elderly people into such clubs as DnD it has helped people aged between 40 - 80 get some memories back. I can't find anything for in age group in Thurrock, and though I can drive and have a vehicle I'm prepared to travel short distance to join clubs. If there are any DnD clubs near Thurrock or Basildon, and willing to take on newbies (never played the game before), I'd love to join, please bear in mind my age, I don't mind people younger than myself, but I don't want to be the eldest by about 30 years. If there are such clubs, within reason, I don't mind paying a subscription; just want to have some fun and laughs before my time is up.

I'm Lauren, I mostly enjoy romance and fantasy, but often enjoy a good murder mystery too. I'd like to connect with other book worms in my area, though I'm a bit of a slow reader so I'll do my best to keep up lol

This book is very tense and exciting, I didn't want to put it down. The worldbuilding is so easy to follow, the characters are great and the plot has a really good pacing to it.

I'm Rhi, I'm 26yrs old. I like to read romance (light and dark) and spice. Easily influenced by all the books that are recommended on TikTok. I'm very much a hermit and looking to step outside my comfort zone and meet people with a similar interest.
