Debi

Seeking a book club

I'm a 30something old woman who moved back to London a couple of years ago after living abroad for 8 years. I was an avid reader a few years ago and fell back in love with books last year. I have a moderate collection and have set myself a reading challenge to read/re-read all of them. I love book clubs and enjoy discussing the characters, their motives and what I personally took away from it. I read a lot of fiction due to my personal collection but you can find me at the library picking up a classic or two. Bestsellers are a given.

LOOKING FOR A GROUP PLEASE! Heya I'm an 18 year old male whose looking to play DND I have played both 2014 and 2024 rules and don't mind either! I want to also include my gf who knows 2014 books more than 2024. We are both willing to learn but most importantly provide valuable insights, roll dice, and have fun! I personally love problem solving, and keeping a strong team ethic. I write songs and me and my gf do character art (she draws I colour - digital/physical artists)

Looking for a community to discuss books and expand my reading. Want a community that enjoys reading as much as I do. Enjoy reading - romance, fantasy, historical fiction, autobiographies to name a few. A bit about me - have been in London for the last 10 years. originally from Lithuania. Would love a community to discuss our favorite books.

Seeking a book club

I'm an avid reader with a penchant for exploring a variety of genres, including science fiction, historical fiction, and mystery novels. I'm eager to join a book group that appreciates this diversity in reading tastes. Ideally, I'm looking for a book group that meets regularly, perhaps once every two weeks, to strike a balance between a consistent schedule and allowing ample time for meaningful discussions and thorough exploration of each book. I believe this frequency would provide a comfortable rhythm for our discussions. Beyond my love for literature, one of my primary goals in joining a book group is to make new friends who share similar interests. I see this as a wonderful opportunity to connect with individuals who not only have a passion for reading but are also open to expanding their horizons and sharing their knowledge. I'm excited about the prospect of engaging in insightful conversations, learning from others, and collectively broadening our literary horizons.

Redbridge and London Role-playing group & Boardgaming

Gaming group

ADEAVMOrganizing an event We’ve been fans of engaging stories since our ancestors told them by the fire. It was a revelation then, when we found out about role-playing games like Dungeons and Dragons. Now we get to do heroic deeds, battle our enemies with guns and swords, and there’s still plenty of treasure to find! You can join the Ilford Adventurers in creating all kinds of stories, no matter the genre. We like to try other types of games too; board games, card games - the group has something for everyone. Look at our past events, and feel free to message the organizers with any questions.
