Lizzie (Chelmsford)

Seeking a book club

I am hoping to move to live in Holt in the next few weeks as we are currently selling and buying a property. I don't know anyone in Holt and as I love reading, I thought joining a book club would be a fab idea.

Chris (Braintree)

Seeking a book club

Hi, I’ve been retired for a while, into my garden, friendship groups, choirs and travelling. Spend much of my spare time reading. Love all genres apart from sci-fi, great fan of Philippa Gregory and Robert Harris. Just read the Spartacus trilogy by Jay Penner, wonderfully descriptive and evocative.

Nicole Obi (Basildon)

Seeking a book club

Hi, I’m Nicole – I’m 18 and currently on a journey of self-growth, exploring new passions, and creating a life that feels meaningful and exciting. Lately, I’ve been trying to romanticize the little things and focus on becoming the best version of myself – and reading has become a big part of that. I want to join a book club because I love getting lost in a good story, especially romance. There’s something about the emotions, the characters, and the twists that just pull me in. But I’m also open to exploring different genres and discovering books I wouldn’t normally pick up on my own. More than anything, I’m looking forward to sharing thoughts, hearing different perspectives, and connecting with others through books.

Grace (Colchester)

Seeking a gaming group

Hello! My name is Grace and I'm 26. I'm a writer and a fantasy, nature & anime enthusiast. I'm looking to join a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. One that is hosted weekly, bi-weekly or monthly is preferred. I've played one campaign before and I'm constantly watching videos of campaigns, rules and lore, alongside playing the infamous Baldur's Gate 3. Please feel free to reach out if you have a group, or if you'd simply like to be friends. Thank you! :)

Firefly (Wickford)

Seeking a gaming group

I'm currently 27, almost completely new to DnD, with my only real experience being reading about it and playing BG3, which I fell in love with. I enjoy roleplaying, but all of my real experience is with text based RPGs, and I'd like to find a beginner friendly group to make friends and get to know the game better :) Willing to travel within reason.

Erin (Brentwood)

Seeking a book club

I’m 24 and just moved to the area - I studied literature (although you probably wouldn’t be able to tell from my taste in books) and want to make some friends ! My most recent read was Butter by Asako Yuzuki and I’m currently reading The Book of Witching by C.J Cooke. I read across many genres (although I have a soft spot for anything Victorian) so I’m happy to chat to anyone :) and we can exchange goodreads if you have it !

Nin (Chelmsford)

Seeking a gaming group

I’m 24 years old and I’ve never played DnD before but I have always been interested and have played a lot of Baldur’s Gate over the past year. I did make a character to play with at university but it never ended up happening - Me and my friend (also a complete beginner) want to find a group to play with. I’m Brentwood based but Chelmsford would probably be a good middle ground for the two of us!
