Max (Romsey)

Seeking a book club

Hi, Iโ€™m Max(32M) I would like to read more and make time for this as a hobby and feel there is almost too much choice! I would find being part of a group a good way to discover books/authors/genres that I would usually not gravitate to.

Donna (Fareham)

Seeking a book club

I'd really like to meet new people in Fareham/Gosport area to discuss books and make friends. It's really hard in your 30's. Don't have social media so don't know how to find any book clubs? An internet search brought me here! I like a variety of genres: rom com, sci fi, fantasy, thriller, etc. Always have two on the go: audiobook and something on kindle. Love going to a bookshop and then for a coffee!

Marchon (Southampton)

Seeking a gaming group

Hey hey ๐Ÿ‘‹ I've been playing DND for for a year and a half, I have to say I LOVE IT! its gotten me into painting minis too! I'm looking to find OR make a group that wanna play and laugh their hearts out. I work weird shifts, study and volunteer so can't commit to the same day each week. BUT! I'm organised so I can plan up to 4 weeks of sessions at once!. I have a couple people interested already so looking for a couple for and someone who would like to DM with either the official books or a homebrew. Mainly looking for people who love D&D and are looking for a friendship locally for the occasional meetup for food, drink or just laughter! ๐Ÿ˜ I have tried Dice and Dumplings & Board in the city however the groups are already formed which is amazing for them however for people who are looking to find a new game / story there is no place for this to be easily searched in discord, Facebook, table top finder or Google. So here I am! Come say hi! I don't bite ๐Ÿค™ Im short "Hey there, I hope your well and we can become great friends inside and out of the magical world of Dungeons & Dragons".

The characters are deeply flawed but enthralling. The whole plot is tightly woven with great dialogue and although the author tells you the outcome in the opening sentence, every aspect of this novel is surprising and brilliantly executed.

Bella Bookworm (Southampton)

Seeking a book club

As a lifelong avid reader I am looking to join or start an in person book group to meet likeminded people with a passion for reading and even creative writing. My main literary passions are crime, psychological thrillers, character driven novels and social justice. I also do like to dip into the classics and a smattering of Gothic. I love Sabine Durrant, Liz Nugent, Kate Elizabeth Russell -but I could list forever. Please contact me if you have a group or are interested in joining me to start one!
