Hi I'm Jim. Pretty experienced RPG player and DM. Not played or run a game for a while though. Looking to start a new group who are open to trying Pathfinder 1E or 2E. Could try D&D again but have more recent experience running PF1E and would say it's pretty much D&D 2E but moved on a bit. I have quite a few one shots I could run or small pre-made campaigns with pre-made character sheets to just get going and get a good group together. With goal to find a dedicated group that are happy to take on an ongoing homemade campaign. Happy to take on brand new players to fairly experienced players. Any really experienced players and/or DM welcome, but would need to forgive my rustyness. Also not looking for anyone to run games currently as ultimate goal is to get my ongoing campaign running. Would be looking to present encounter maps digitally using a VTT. Maybe through a projector onto a table? Not sure yet. Have run fairly successful games on big TVs before so that can work. Also means players who can't make it in-person for a session, can always remote in. But would like the majority of play to be in-person wherever possible. I run fun, easy going games that are more about the role play and story telling than getting bogged down too much with the stats. Would also need to find somewhere to play ideally around Alton area.

This walking group is based in Alton and welcomes members from the town and nearby parishes. It arranges regular walks across East Hampshire, the South Downs and sometimes London, usually covering 5 to 10 miles on any day of the week. In summer it also offers evening walks, and it runs walking holidays away from the area twice a year.
