Seeking a gaming group
26M looking to get back into D&D after a few years away. I have some experience with 5E but a little rusty so I wouldn't mind joining a friendly group that doesn't mind me easing back in. Ideally looking for a group in or around Portsmouth but I'm also open to playing online. I'm easygoing, reliable and mainly looking for a fun table with a good mix of role-playing, exploration and combat. Happy to join an existing campaign or a new one!

Book club
📖✨ A new book club is coming to Southsea ✨📖 A space for book lovers, slow readers, fast readers, e-readers, audiobook listeners, and anyone who just wants an evening spent talking about great stories with like-minded people. Expect cosy monthly evenings, relaxed conversation, and themed activities in a welcoming space where there’s no pressure to “analyse” the book perfectly. Just books, chats, and a room full of people who understand the joy of “just one more chapter”. Whether your shelves are overflowing or you’re gently finding your way back into reading, you’re very welcome here 🤍

Seeking a book club
Hi there, I am Helene in Southsea, looking to re-motivate myself to read more and to make new social connections. I am happy to meet up during the day if this appeals to anyone, as I am retired, and could also host if that helps.

Bands
This is a guitar jam group for people who want to play with others rather than practise alone. It welcomes any age and almost any level, including those who only know basic chords, and meetings are held every couple of weeks in pubs around Southsea and Old Portsmouth, usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening. The group says attendees have also gone on to take part in open mic nights and some local gigs.
