Haigh Woodland parkrun is a free, weekly, community 5k at Haigh Country Park, every Saturday morning. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate - everyone is welcome, whatever their pace.

Running

Lostock AC is a RunTogether running group, part of England Athletics' network of friendly group runs. They meet at Blackrod Community Centre. Runs are usually on Thursday. Sessions cater for keep me going and get me started runners. Distances: 5 - 10k and 0 - 5k.
