Seeking a book club
I taught literature for nearly fifteen years, and reading has always been a big part of my life. I read in both English and Spanish, and I enjoy all genres — poetry, plays, and novels, especially historical fiction. One of my favourite authors is Carlos Ruiz Zafón. I’ve read The Shadow of the Wind, the whole Cemetery of Forgotten Books series, and his earlier novels too. I also love Ryszard Kapuściński, particularly The Shadow of the Sun, and I’m drawn to his blend of literature, history and political reflection.

Seeking a book club
Hi, I have an eclectic mix of interests when I read. I love murder mystery’s, autobiography’s, historical novels amongst a range of others. I’d like to join a face to face book club rather than online. I love the idea of sharing views and perspectives in a relaxed, social group. Does anyone know of any groups locally ? I can travel pretty much anywhere in Lancashire.
