Lynn
Seeking a book club
Hi, I've recently moved to Frinton having semi-retired from a long career as a Primary School teacher. I'm keen to make new friends with similar interests (reading, walking, places if interest etc) and integrate into the community. Enjoy reading a range of genres, favourite author currently being Santa Montefiore. Not sure if group exists already but happy to join or start one.

We are looking at moving to Kirby Cross from Cheshunt in Hertfordshire. Iโm concerned I wonโt find enough things of interest to keep me busy & social.

Good afternoon I am fairly flexible when it comes to genres although I do not enjoy 'Court Cases' books. I was recently widowed and was a full-time carer for my husband for the past 3 years which I found very isolating. I would welcome meeting like-minded people to discover and discuss a variety of books. I would like to meet once a week if possible I look forward to hearing from you. Regards Myriam Ayling

Rachel Gallehawk leads the group at Thameside Complex, Orsett Road, Grays, Essex, RM17 5DX and newcomers are more than welcome to join. Moreover, this service is especially helpful for adults with low literacy levels and those who are visually impaired. Bibliotherapy is also an important part of the service, providing many with a mood-boosting experience.
