I am newly arrived in Fleet Hampshire and would love to join a bookclub to meet people. I mostly enjoy reading fantasy and romance, but also occasionally like murder mystery (as long as they are not too scary lol) :)

I’m an avid reader and think it would be good to discuss books and make new friends. I live in Church Crookham and know there is a group that meets in Crookham Village. I would like to know what age range attend the meetings as I’m in my 70s.

My name is Vernon Barnes. Why a book group? To discuss books with people with similar outlooks. I like most fiction, especially British 19th century, but joining a book club will help broaden my range of 20th c. reading.

I love reading and I love books but have lost my way to the digital tsunami! I'd love to find my love of reading again and meet people who feel the same and perhaps even be a bit sociable in the process 😁

Read Between The Wines
Book club
A book club for people who love stories, good company, and the occasional glass of wine! We meet every second Monday from 7–9pm at Crookham Street Social Club to unwind, chat, and choose our next great read together. There’s no pressure to finish every book — it’s all about enjoying the moment, the conversation, and the community. Bring your curiosity, your ideas, or just yourself — you’ll be in good company. 🍷
