I was looking for a book club and ended up here. :) In my 20s I used to read lots of fantasy and classic literature, now (30 something) I mostly read fiction, self development, thriller and romance books but I am a bookworm at heart and very open minded about recommendations! I am such a big book lover, recently finding my passion again for it in the within the last 2 years. My favourite genre is thriller, a big fan of Riley Sager, Freida McFadden, Jennifer Hillier, Karin Slaughter... Too be honest the list is endless. I am 33 years old in a relationship but living on my own with my small dog Layla. I am happy to host a book club or become part of a current one. Also open to trying new genres if anyone has any recommendations. Would really love to relay my passion of reading onto other and be able to open discussions regarding much loved reads of mine.

This is a fairly long book... but my god I could not put it down. Karin Slaughters writing is just pure genius. I have know idea how she creates the plots and twist. You will no regret reading any novels by her.

44 year old female who played some D&D (and Warhammer) as a teenager and now can't remember much other than I enjoyed it. I would like to find a group/game to join to play D&D to see if it's as good as I remember, or perhaps just different now as an adult. Hopefully for it to become a regular hobby. As an autistic person with other health problems, I can find it more challenging to get out and meet new people. My local friendship circle is small and they don't have this interest, so I am hoping that there are people out there who have space to take a chance on a stranger who is pretty clueless and basically starting from scratch. I am up for a laugh, but can also take things seriously when needed. I have a background in drama, so love the whole fantasy and storytelling aspect of the game. I'm not sure what else I'm meant to put on this!
