Seeking a book club

Hi Everyone, I’m 27 years old and have always liked reading. I am hoping to join a fun book club that meets every week or every other week. I like all genres except heavy sci-fi. Otherwise I will read anything that’s good! Would be really happy to connect.

Pierre

Seeking a gaming group

Hi, I'm Pierre 23M. I'm looking for a regular group in central/north London. I have some experience with DND 5e & 5.5e, but would also enjoy other systems (interested in VtM). Very easy going player to have at the table & engaged. Very willing to move stuff around to play in-person regularly.

Colin

Seeking a book club

I'm a relatively new reader, 18 years old. I have of course read books in the past but only recently I have decided to take up reading as a hobby for myself. I don't have a singular genre I prefer but I tend to lean towards dystopias, historic fiction, and the classics. I want to find other readers in my area and discuss literature, as well as take book recommendations to broaden my horizons.

Frankliv

Seeking a book club

Hi! I’m in my early 30s and work and live in London. In the last year, I’ve rediscovered my love for reading and am looking for a book club that will allow me to expand my horizons and meet some new people. Love a tragic romance, fantasy, scifi, queer fiction and the occasional historical fiction.

This book broke me a little bit, but in the best possible way. It’s a must read for anyone who’s wondered ‘what if’, especially if you want to be left with a sense that what is meant for you comes to you.

Cas

Seeking a gaming group

Played for a very long time. Took a break some time in the late 90's and stayed playing again shortly after the release of 5e. Currently playing 5.5e with an online group of friends. I'm system agnostic as long as its a friendly group. I lean into rp and silly voices because it's fun but also play with a semi tactical group that don't rp so much. I'm open to most group types. Lean away from "in game romances" and the like because it can lead to uncomfortable situations at the table. Have a very live and let live view on most things. Neuro spicy (adhd) with a neuro spicy family.

Jasmine

Seeking a gaming group

Hello! I've been playing D&D (5e and 2024) for the past 7-ish years and I'm looking for friendly and warm people to play with. I'm looking for a table that is focused on roleplay and telling a story together over powergaming, but I do still love me a bit of combat. Ideally looking for a group with women and/or LGBTQ+ folks but happy to play with guys too if the vibe is right. 32, she/her, based in South London.

Seeking a gaming group

I've played a handful of sessions across 5e & 5.5 in the last few years, but predominantly have engaged watching Dimension 20 etc.. Looking to play DND 5e or 5.5, with tables that are more focused on narrative & fun over hardcore powergaming etc., but I'm up for a challenge and some fun combat too!

Shani

Seeking a book club

Hiya, my name is Shani, and I'm 21. I've always loved reading since I was young, and I'm quite fond of classics, magical realism and fantasy. My two favourite books are 'The Phantom of the Opera' by Gaston Leroux and 'The Five People You Meet in Heaven' by Mitch Albom. I'd love to broaden my knowledge of literature and expand on the genres I am currently into, whilst socialising with like-minded people :)

ZoeB

Seeking a book club

Hello, I am Zoe, originally from Greece and I live and work in London for around 6 years now. I always liked reading, it makes me feel understood. Multiple times I might have a deeper thought that I have not put into words and there it is, in the novel I am reading! I am looking for a group of like-minded people who enjoy reading and analysing stories and characters. I usually like classic literature, lately I am reading "The Idiot" by Dostoevsky. I also like Albert Camus and anything similar that combines more existential-philosophical subjects, with a story. Also, I occasionally enjoy poetry. If that sounds good to you please contact me :)
