Seeking a book club

Hi everyone! Iโ€™m looking to join a book club to stay motivated and meet people who love reading. I mainly read classic literature and novels, but I'm open to exploring new genres. I enjoy reading in both English and Italian, so finding a group that embraces both would be amazing.

I have played previously in university and with my old friend group. I'm looking for any kind of game. I'm in my late twenties, based on west London. Previously i've played DND 5th edition, but i'm interested in trying other games. I'm a big fan of dragon age and science fiction settings.

Seeking a gaming group

I just moved to London for Uni, and I'm looking for a group to join. I played in a west marches style game (5.5e), but not for long. I'm looking to find a game to join in the weekends, preferably near Lewisham! I know the basics of the system, but I'm happy to learn more about it, or another system!

Gaming group

Hi :3 I've been DMing for 2 years now, but only online so i thought i'd try my hand with an irl campaign! I've got a couple in mind, but to be succinct one is a very open-world sandbox timeloop campaign with an RP focus that i've homebrewed, and the other is a combat-focused dungeon crawler that i've borrowed from a game i enjoy lol Hoping for players under 20 tho, im 16 so it would be odd having a full blown adult at the table lol

Shailesh Yadav

Seeking a book club

I am 29M, been living in London since 2018. I am a curious and analytical person who enjoys understanding how the world works. Iโ€™m particularly interested in history, geopolitics, intelligence, psychology, science, philosophy and human behaviour. When something interests me, I tend to go beyond the surface and ask why things happened, how they work and what shaped them. I enjoy reading not just for entertainment, but to challenge my thinking and understand different perspectives. Iโ€™d like to join a book club because I want to discover books and ideas that I might not come across on my own, while having meaningful discussions with people who have different opinions and interpretations. Iโ€™m especially interested in hearing perspectives that challenge my own rather than simply agreeing with me. I think discussing a book with others can make the experience much more rewarding because you notice ideas, themes and viewpoints that you might have missed while reading alone. Ultimately, Iโ€™d like to join a book club to read more widely, think more deeply, meet intellectually curious people and have genuine conversations about ideas rather than just discussing whether we liked a book or not.
