D&D 5e, played on and off for 7 years. Am looking in the Kingston area, but can travel a little if needed. Would mostly be interested in playing with other women, but open to games with anyone else if it is a respectful group. Would also consider DMing if needed.

Seeking a book club

I am passionate about books. I love classics, but also contemporary fiction. I have joined before couple of book clubs, but for various reasons I am still looking for a 'favourite'. I am open and curious about finding like-minded people and discover together literature I haven't read, yet or want to reshare.

Hi everyone, I’m Ana. I love books that stay with you long after you’ve finished reading them and make you see things a little differently. I’m really looking forward to meeting fellow book lovers, making new friends, and sharing that experience with all of you. 📖

Seeking a book club

I’m looking to join this book club as I want to discover new books, step outside my comfort zone, and explore genres I might not normally pick up. I’m also looking forward to meeting fellow book lovers, sharing thoughts on great reads, and hearing different perspectives.

I've dabbled a little in the past with Dnd but have never fully gotten involved in more than a one shot - I'm open to pretty much anything and happy to explore further. I'm very much into music, alot of metal and rock, but my taste is eclectic - ill pretty much listen to anything other than Jazz or House ha!

Amanda

Seeking a book club

I’m a reader who loves literary non fiction, historical novels, and the occasional speculative short story. I’m drawn to books that linger rich characters, and ideas that spark conversation. I’m joining this group to share perspectives, discover authors I wouldn’t find on my own, and take part in thoughtful, warm discussions where listening matters as much as arguing a point. I am looking for a book club where people meet in person and share different perspective and knowledge

Seeking a book club

To me reading books is becoming a niche and I don’t want that to be the case. I have been reducing my screen time and been getting back on the books and journaling again. As I have grown older, my choices in books have adapted and become personal to who I am and what I want to be and I believe that everyone has a story to tell based on the books that they read so I want to get know others.

Whatever you believe on the topic, it’s really important to get an understanding of what is going on outside of our own world. It’s important to know history not in the way that mainstream media would want you to know them so it’s amazing to get a different perspective that may not be in your narrative you been bought up with

Vivien

Seeking a book club

My name is Vivien, I've lived in London for 12 years and I always wanted to join a book club but somehow never got around to it... I grew up reading a lot and I have recently found myself getting back into it again thankfully. I have quite a stressful job and reading is a way to escape for me. I am pretty much open to any suggestions and I also have my own. 😁

Stew

Seeking a gaming group

M30 looking to join/start a group in north London. Long time player but with some time away from the table. For the last few years I have only played online with my home group as we’ve all been in different cities. I am keen to start playing in person. I’ve played a few systems including d&d 5e, blades in the dark, and kids on brooms. I’m looking for a fun and funny game that is character and narrative driven with a light hearted jokey feel. Not too heavy not too light in terms of topics. Particularly keen to play with people who care that others are having a fun time. I would be interested in playing a forged in the dark hack, Wildsea, fe Borg, dungeon world maybe. And 5e is always good! I’d be open to DMing but I don’t have tonnes of experience or time to commit to it.
