I am experienced middle-aged roleplayer that has just moved to the Little Waltham area of Chelmsford. I usually end up as GameMaster/Storyteller so I would like to join a group where I can be a player, or where we take it in turns. I tend to favour the fantasy and horror genres over sci-fi or historical, and value story and character development over combat and stats. I’m happy to show other players the ropes, if that helps.

I did make a character to play with at university but it never ended up happening - Me and my friend (also a complete beginner) want to find a group to play with. I am an Essex based author with 8 novels published with another 3, possibly 4 due out this year. I write across multiple genres, mainly thrillers, including female led action, supernatural suspense, horror, dystopia, and I have just released a psychological dark romance, which is the first in a 9 part crime series that follows the character arc of a female detective based in the fictional Essex town of Branford. My books have been exhibited at the London Book Fair, the Frankfurt International Book Fair and the Sharjah Book Fair.
