I'm looking for 1-2 more players for my 5.0e D&D campaign which currently runs at my house in Bridgwater every 3rd Thursday evening (but I would like to run it more often and might move it to weekends). It's a lighthearted tropical island adventure with pirates, ancient ruins and an angry volcano God. Think One Piece, maybe with a bit of Duck Tales. Experienced DM in D&D 2e-5.0e. I always put fun first. I have an informal DM style that places trust in my players. I have an acting background and I love to create memorable NPCs.

My name is Tanya, 72, and I moved to Nailsea from Surrey recently to be closer to my family. I would like to join the reading club because reading is what I do in my spare time, mainly historical novels. Also I’d like to meet new friends with similar interests. I started reading early, but really enjoying reading since I became a teenager, and it was mainly classical literature. I found for myself French writers like George Sand, Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas, Honore de Balzac, Emil Zola, later Scottish R. L. Stevenson and Thackeray, I didn’t enjoy reading Charles Dickens, I found his books dark and gloomy. I am also familiar with Russian, German and American literature. Theodore Dreiser is among my favourites.
