Cheddar Sci-Fi and Fantasy
Book club
I am starting a new book club in Cheddar that focuses primarily on sci-fi and fantasy novels. The plan is to meet once a month and discuss a novel we've all read over a drink or two. A nice opportunity to meet new people and discuss our shared interest in a relaxed and friendly environment. I would love to hear from anyone interested :)

Book club
Currently a work in progress, looking to gauge interest. The plan would be that we would take it in turns to choose (or vote for) a book and then meet in-person every 4 to 6 weeks to discuss, with discussion led by the person who suggested the book. Would be lovely to meet a range of people in the local area and connect over a common interest.

I love reading but I’ve fallen out of the habit and want to feel inspired again and not intimidated. I’m open to most genres but not a sci fi fan. Some favourite reads have included: The Salt Path - Raynor Winn; Pure - Andrew Miller; anything by Margaret Atwood; The Colour - Rose Tremain; The Miracle Life of Edgar Mint - Brady Udall; Little - Edward Carey Thank you
