I’m thinking of setting up a (Retro) Crime Book Club in Yeovil. It’s only an idea at the moment to see if there’s any interest. Several people have said to me this is the particular genre they enjoy and they don’t like other groups where anything at all can be selected to read. I’m a published author of murder mysteries and would love to be able to set up my own group.

Taken up reading again more seriously over the last few years after reading the ‘Marple’ 12 short stories inspired by Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple. I’ve since read almost all the Miss Marple books, and also enjoyed archaeology and history related novels, books with a dystopian twist or thought provoking message, detective fiction and those with a strong female lead/feminist theme.
