I'm a 28 year old male living in Darlington, who loves tabletop games, and gaming in general. Looking to play D&D 5e, but I'm open to other games. Having played both the 2014 edition and 2024 edition more recently, I've a fair amount of experience playing 5th edition however I've not played in a little bit. We're a couple (F30 & M29) who are really keen to finally experience D&D firsthand. Over the years, we've absorbed a lot of the lore and the general idea of how the game works through podcasts, videos, and just general interest. Now, we're at the point where we're excited to actually sit down and play! Since we're new to playing, we're pretty open to any type of game. We're eager to learn the ropes and experience different styles of play. Whether it's a classic fantasy adventure, something more intrigue-focused, or even something a bit darker, we're up for giving it a go. We're really just looking for a welcoming and patient group to guide us through our first proper D&D experience and help us discover the magic of playing. We're both enthusiastic and ready to immerse ourselves in a new world!
