Gabriel

Seeking a gaming group

Never played any tabletop before so no preference for any system. Just want to start some kind of social hobby, moved up from London to the countryside now and don't get to see friends much. Just started driving so I'd like to make the most of that now. 26 y/o.

Bowes Book Club

Book club

Readers and culture lovers are invited to a series of cosy Sunday afternoons at the Bowes Book Club, held in The Bowes Museumโ€™s aptly named Conversation Space. The series continues this Autumn and Winter with a unique curator-led programme offering much more than a traditional book group. Each session includes an introduction to the chosen book, context-setting from an expert curator, dedicated time to discuss the book and its themes with refreshments in an atmospheric setting. Readers will also have access to the museumโ€™s galleries with the opportunity to get close to objects from its world class collection, as curators draw connections between the worlds of art, design and fashion from across time and the selected book.

Seeking a book club

I have always been a reader from childhood and an avid library user. I found audiobooks on Borrow box during the lockdowns and always have a physical books and an ebook on the go. I like many authors from PeterJames and Shari Lapena to Ruth Jones and Dawn French. Plus all in between and have recently discovered cosy mystery writers like Alexander McCall Smith and L T Shearer. I would love to meet other book lovers to discuss books over a coffee in a social setting๐Ÿ™‚โ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿ“—
