Gaming group

Hey, I'm 36 male, queer and I'm starting to run World of Darkness. For the forseeable future I'll be running Vampire the Masquerade 5e exclusively, though long term I will be planning to run some of the more niche games from older editions(Mage, Mummy, Demon, Kindred of the East). I'm also happy to play in other systems and am part of a small developing group in the east Durham area.

Barnetto

Seeking a book club

I’m Andrew, a UK-based reader who gravitates toward sci‑fi and fantasy with strong world‑building, clever systems, and a bit of oddness. I love stories that reward paying attention — the kind where you can dig into how things work, why characters make the choices they do, and what the setting is really saying beneath the surface. I’m looking for a relaxed, curious book club that enjoys thoughtful discussion without getting overly serious. This is supposed to be fun after all.

It's a unique blend of cosmic horror and office politics that I haven't found anywhere else.

Love reading, kindle user. My favourite genres are thrillers, psychological thrillers, crime and mystery. But I am open to anything. I'm 33 and live in Wingate and would love to join a book club or meet like-minded new friends to chat and read with :)

The writing is superb, one of the best I found in the last year. Worldbuilding is fun and not too complicated, but enough to keep you engaged. Story a bit dark, spooky and perfect for lover or gothic stories.

I love reading most genres, but particularly Victorian fiction, early modern and post-modern. I am just about to have a baby so wanting a group to help me keep reading whilst on maternity leave, if possible!
