Seeking a book club
Hi! I’ve just moved back to the West Country after 25 years away and I’m looking to make some new friends with shared interests. I tend to read non-fiction but I’m happy to read fiction, too - I’ll give most things a go. I’m a young-minded 51 year old who is very sociable but also respects boundaries. Hoping to find a nice book club to join or meet some people who would like to start one. 😊

I have been trying to read more books, but no luck in keeping it consistent. Wishing to make this New Year resolution. Look forward to meet new people and make some new friends as I am new to WSM.

I like reading thrillers mainly but also enjoy historical fiction and chick lit to mix it up. Looking to meet some fellow book lovers! Monthly meets would be great, quite flexible with days!

We are inviting new members to our book club! Our first meeting will take place at Weston Library on Friday, 28th January 2022. It is hosted by the Community Services Officer from North Somerset Council's Library Services. We'll pick our first book together and make sure to have fun as we read. Wherever possible, we'll choose books that also come in different formats such as large print, audio, and e-books. This is an adults-only event and booking ahead is advised to ensure social distancing. The meeting will be held at the Town Hall, Walliscote Grove Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1UJ. Join us soon!
