I'm a 28 year old male (he/him) teacher looking to play DnD 5e (whichever version). Preferably want to be playing but I've been DMing for 6 years so I'm happy to DM. I've DMed and played in groups as small as 2 and as big as 12, always play homebrew campaigns. I love playing these games because of the fun and creativity involved in collaborative storytelling. Happy to play in something fun and meme-filled or something more serious, as long as we all have fun together. LGBTQ+ friendly games.

So long story short after being widowed at 40 I decided to start doing more things I've always wanted to do. I've always wanted to get into tabletop gaming so here I am.

Looking to start or join a 5e DnD campaign. I've experience both as a player and a DM. Preferably, I'd like to play in person, but I'm flexible. I'd also appreciate any suggestions of local board game groups/clubs that run DnD.
