33 M - Not exactly new to the area but boy have I been lazy in rebuilding my friend group. I am a long time gamer and play MtG, board games, and D&D (well I'll try any TTRPG really). I moved to the area kind of around the end of 2024 and have been building my career up since then, but now I'm hoping to get some game nights in each week. I enjoy playing Commander and prefer bracket 2/3. I have also played quite a lot of D&D and have a lot of experience being a DM though I do prefer to get to know people before starting a group that I'm in charge of. Finally for board games I love a good big-box-campaign game e.g. Oathsworn, Midara, Kingdom Death and also things that are more mid sized. Finally as I know as adults it can be hard to get groups together for big gaming nights, feel free to send me a ping if you want to add me on discord or steam. I play a lot of games like Warframe, Space Marine 2, Remnant 2, Subnautica, etc... and am always happy to meet new people.

I am brand new to DnD. Looking to find a local group okay with new players. I am just trying to be more social (late 20s) and play some games. Been intently watching Critical Role recently and would love to give it a go.

My name is Alan Scholes and I'm the founder of Gecko Games Club, which has been running for about 10 years! This is a family-based group, we welcome all and mainly play board games of new and old but have recently started up again, D&D with our newly named Gecko Pete as DM.
