Love reading and want to broaden my horizons and meet like minded people. Enjoy reading books that really take you to a place outside of your lived experience. Most recent 5 star reviews - The Island of Missing trees, The Wager and Young Mungo. I love in Hove and would love to find somewhere local.

Seeking a book club
Book girlie in her early 30s, hoping to find some fellow bookish friends locally (in & around Eastbourne area). I'm a fiction lover (mostly thrillers and romance), but have recently read some historical fiction and memoirs too. Favourite authors include; Jessa Hastings, Freida McFadden, Lucy Foley, Elle Kennedy, Emily Henry, Lauren Asher & Elsie Silver. I follow lots of bookish people on YouTube and Instagram, but thought it might be fun to be able to chat to people nearby about recent reads and/ or to get recommendations. :)

Seeking a book club
Hi, Iām 65, I love reading a variety of genres. Would like a club that is also social and maybe does things other than read books, but that is not a deal breaker. I want to meet in a neutral territory ie not in each others houses. Iām due to retire in July so will have a lot more time to read. I currently read about 4 books a month. Some quicker than others. I very rarely give up on a book but occasionally there is one that I just cannot finish. My daughter loves her book group and I also have a friend who enjoys her book group meetings.

Been playing RPGs off and on since the late 1970s and now I've taken early retirement am keen to relive my wasted youth and roll some funny shaped dice. Games I am most familiar with and interested in would be Traveller, RuneQuest, Warhammer and Call of Cthulhu but will try anything. Don't drive but happy to travel anywhere the train goes from Bexhill (Hastings, Lewes, Eastbourne, Battle etc)

Did a little bit of DND at school and kind of want to get back into the hobby again. I noticed there's not many groups around this area so I'm posting it as a group. Willing to DM but still researching that side of things.

Seeking a book club
Hi, My name is John, and I'm eager to connect and network with other authors. I'm open to both online interactions and meeting in person at libraries in or around my town. I'm taking my first steps towards becoming a published author, and I would love to learn more about the process from experienced writers. Recently, I have been in touch with some publishers, but I'm concerned they might not have my best interests at heart. I've completed writing a children's story and have started the journey of creating a series. At the moment, Iām working on the artwork for the book myself. Looking forward to connecting with you!
