For easy reading, I enjoy Ann Cleeves’s books. I also especially like The World Is Not Enough by Zoe Oxenburg, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, and Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson, as well as local history books. I’m also open to trying different genres and discovering authors I might not otherwise pick up. I’d like to join a book group because I love reading, but I’d also really enjoy meeting other people who enjoy books. I think it would be lovely to read a book and then sit down together over a drink to chat about what we thought of it—even when we all have completely different views! I’m hoping to find a friendly, relaxed group where I can enjoy good books and good company.

I'm a full-time carer for my wife and father of 2 mini me's. I'm a bit of an introvert and socially awkward, and suffer with ptsd and anxiety . I enjoy table top games like risk, settlers, monopoly, talisman and more, but I'm mainly looking for a D&D group but I don't have a lot of experience. I have D&D 3 manual and some extra's, my own dice (d4, d6, d8, d10x2, d20,), dice tower, character book/game book. I'm looking to play between 1 to 4 times a month depending on the groups availability.

Seeking a book club
Hi, My name is John, and I'm eager to connect and network with other authors. I'm open to both online interactions and meeting in person at libraries in or around my town. I'm taking my first steps towards becoming a published author, and I would love to learn more about the process from experienced writers. Recently, I have been in touch with some publishers, but I'm concerned they might not have my best interests at heart. I've completed writing a children's story and have started the journey of creating a series. At the moment, I’m working on the artwork for the book myself. Looking forward to connecting with you!
