Stephen (St Leonards-on-Sea)
Seeking a book club
Recently moved to St Leonards. I like to read but not so good at discussing books, but I would like to learn and make some new acquaintances. My background is in science, which doesnāt fit in with Hastings/St Leonards culture I am beginning to find out. I do not like science fiction too much though! I like all kinds of books and mainly read books my friends have suggested.

Allison (Hailsham)
Seeking a book club
For easy reading, I enjoy Ann Cleevesās books. I also especially like The World Is Not Enough by Zoe Oxenburg, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, and Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson, as well as local history books. Iām also open to trying different genres and discovering authors I might not otherwise pick up. Iād like to join a book group because I love reading, but Iād also really enjoy meeting other people who enjoy books. I think it would be lovely to read a book and then sit down together over a drink to chat about what we thought of itāeven when we all have completely different views! Iām hoping to find a friendly, relaxed group where I can enjoy good books and good company.

Lorri (Hastings)
Seeking a book club
Iām in my 50s. I used to love reading all different genres but life got in the way and I struggled to find time to read. I love anything from the classics to Harry Potter, crime/thrillers and some romance. I also like to learn about different things and about natural medicine. I feel like I must have missed out of some great books so thatās why I would like to join a book club.
