Mandy

Seeking a book club

I'm a non-stop reader of almost anything, though fantasy is a challenge for me. I'm looking to meet up with a group of lovely people regularly to talk about our reading.

A History of Loneliness

by John Boyne | Learn more and buy

I'm reading this book at the moment - I will finish it tonight - and it's exceptional. A deep, disturbing look at the life of a priest in Ireland that is also tender and loving. It addresses some difficult issues and stirs a whole range of emotions. A well researched and beautifully written piece of work that I will be sad to leave behind.

Bookworm 70

Seeking a book club

I am a retired Headteacher, I now have the time to pick up reading for pleasure. I moved to Norfolk a year ago and would like to meet a new circle of friends

Purplehaze1971

Seeking a book club

Looking for like minded people for a love of reading, discussions, recommendations who don't mind a chat. I would like to make friends and happy to join a group in the evenings or weekends.

Bookish

Seeking a book club

I'm mostly looking for easy reads, not necessarily to be "challenged" - life is challenging enough. I quite like thrillers and crime, but not averse to reading funny or spooky things too.

Bookish recommends:

Eight Detectives

by Alex Pavesi | Learn more and buy

It's very clever, it's basically a set of fun short stories linked by a larger plot.

Hatty
