i'm a musician, kind of a binge reader insofar as i'll plod through one book taking forever and then bang through another 2 or 3 at the same time. i wasted a lot of time at school being a muso and the class clown and it was only when spending long hours in orchestra pits i found i needed something to both distract me and keep me focused, so i started reading and i love it. i'll read pretty much anything: almost the entire 'tudor' series from philippa gregory, carlos ruiz zafon, richard osman (doesn't everybody?), garrison keillor, don delillo, bret easton ellis, john irving, a.s. byatt, fiction, biographies, history, suggest it and i might have a look. if i'm not playing the trumpet...

I would love to join or start a book club in or around Fakenham. I have just moved here and before I moved belonged to a group which made me pick up a book instead of my phone!! I work full time and a lot of book clubs seem to meet up during the day.
