Kujraine (Maidstone)

Seeking a gaming group

Hi, I'm sorta new at D&D, I'm looking to start a group for regular meetups as a DM. I'm still learning, but I want to get practice in and really get involved with it! I'm quite easy with the rules, I think the goal is to have fun and be challenged but not at the cost of fun, and let the dice rolls take you where they do! Mix of combat and social, I'll adapt to players and create a world where everyone can get involved, new players and experienced players are welcome and we just have fun with a hobby everyone is passionate about! I hope that makes sense and sounds good! Based in Maidstone, I want the group to meet rather than doing it digitally/virtually.

Debutante (Folkestone)

Seeking a book club

Hi Iโ€™m late 60โ€™s and like to think of myself as young minded. I have a GSH and like a bit of banter and fun. Love reading and discussing books but donโ€™t love it so much when things are taken too seriously. I have a Literature degree so have enjoyed analysing many books. However, I do feel that over analysing can sometimes lessen the enjoyment. I mainly like fiction one of my favourite books being โ€˜What I Lovedโ€™ by Siri Hustvedt. Also loved The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. Fairly new to Sandgate so would like to make new friends in the process.

Ru's Games (Canterbury)

Gaming group

Group looking for players who are keen roleplayers and not rules lawyers, for narrative and story-led open world games in a variety of settings from light-hearted space opera shenanigans to dark and angsty urban fantasy (and often stuff in between). We have 3-4 players at the moment but highly variable due to mental health and work shift issues, so looking for an extra bod or two to get a more consistent minimum of 3 players per game (we play Weds evening, Changeling the Lost, and Saturday late afternoon/evening, Dungeons & Destiny, in central Canterbury).

Forever GM (but happy with that!) looking for players who are keen roleplayers and not rules lawyers, for narrative and story-led open world games in a variety of settings from light-hearted space opera shenanigans to dark and angsty urban fantasy (and often stuff in between). I have 3-4 players in my two games at the moment but attendance can be variable due to mental health and work shift issues, so looking for an extra bod or two to get a more consistent minimum of 3 players per game (play Weds evening, Changeling the Lost, and Saturday late afternoon/evening, Dungeons & Destiny, in central Canterbury).

Wonderful story, written in the 1950's. It's the tale of a regular man who tinkers with engineering projects in his London basement and ends up on an incredible journey.
