Seeking a book club
Hi, I’m Mary, 31F and really looking to join a book club. I’ve always been a reader but over the last 2 years really got back into it. I’m new to the area and would absolutely love to find some bookish friends. I’m open to all genres but my fable tells me my most popular reads seem to be Historical fiction and fiction 😂

Ells (Stevenage)
Seeking a book club
Hi I'm a 25 woman, I studied English Literature at uni but have since branched from classics to more literary and contemporary fiction. I love being able to chat about books with others and looking to meet people who enjoy the same. I am open to getting into more genres, especially when I hear how passionate people talk about their favourite books. Some of my favourite authors are Ruth Ozeki and Maggie O'Farrell.

GM John (Waltham Cross)
Seeking a gaming group
Hi all, I'm John, and I'm 33. I recently moved down south for work and academia. I am a GM but haven't GM'd a group in a few years. I want to get back into the hobby. I have played in DND 5E, Cyberpunk Red, and World of Darkness campaigns. I have also run two successful Star Wars 'Edge of the Empire and Force & Destiny campaigns up North. I hope to get back into the hobby with other local TTRP enthusiasts. I am system-flexible. I am looking to form a local group.

Reading was something I enjoyed in the past, but for various reasons, I haven't been reading as much lately. I would love to reconnect with my favourite pastime again while meeting like-minded people. I love most fiction books except for horror and violence.

Seeking a book club
I'm 67, retired and looking for fellow readers to meet to talk about books, to discuss literature in general. I have spent much of my life reading technical stuff and want to broaden my scope to pretty much any area of fiction writing. I live in Hertford and as I'm retired can make just about any time and day.

Seeking a book club
Hello all, nice to meet you! I'm 27F. I'm open to reading most genres as long as I find the concept intriguing, but I mostly lean towards horror and science fiction; also, ever since I read The Phone Box at the Edge of the World, I have found I enjoy themes of grief and loss in the stories I read. Some books I would recommend are: I Who Have Never Known Men, Project Hail Mary, American Gods, Like Water for Chocolate, and I'm Glad My Mom Died. If you resonate with any of the books I've mentioned and would like to share something you'd think I'd like, please feel welcome to do so. Have a nice day!

Seeking a book club
’m someone who finds deep joy in exploring the world of magic and fantasy, where stories are not just an escape but a way to immerse myself in complex worlds full of imagination and meaning. I’m drawn to narratives with strong psychological depth, where characters are more than just players in the plot but fully realized individuals with layers of complexity. I love stories where I can truly go on a journey with these characters, seeing their growth, struggles, and triumphs unfold in a way that feels real and impactful. Books with well-thought-out characters, whether they’re navigating magical realms or dealing with psychological challenges, resonate with me because they feel authentic and give me the space to reflect on human nature. I appreciate when authors take the time to develop personalities that stay with you long after you’ve finished the last page. I'm excited to join a book group because I love discussing these intricate stories with others who appreciate them as much as I do. Sharing perspectives, learning how others view certain characters or themes, and getting introduced to books I might not have found on my own are all things I’m looking forward to. There’s something special about connecting with people over the stories we love.

I was introduced to DnD by a friend buying me BG3 as a way to learn the basics and absolutely fell in love with the game. I really want to find a group I can play with that will be patient as I learn what I am doing and come out of my shell
