Gaming group
I am looking to find a like-minded gaming group of fun people to play some TTRPG games together. I am happy to try give any game a go to be honest, but the ones I am most interested to play are ShadowDark, D&D (BECMI), The One Ring (2e), Twilight 2000, Call of Cthulu, Delta Green, Blades in the Dark, Traveller, Alien, Pendragon, Stonetop and Star Wars. My idea is to have a group that is happy to both GM and Play. Was thinking we can do some One-Shots and Starter Sets from multiple game systems to see how they go. Each person can have a go at running a system they like or are interested in. I suggest we meet-up one or possibly two evenings a month (let's face it, we are all busy people) and use a local cafe, pub, bar or similar public venue that is convenient for everyone. I am based in Stansted Mountfitchet, but I am very happy to travel if the group and the vibes are right. All ages, backgrounds, identities, and experience levels would be most welcome! And listen, if you don't want to GM you don't have to. I just thought it would be nice for everyone to get a chance to play. I do GM but I am not a 'Forever GM' and I do want to sit back and be a Player sometimes.

I love reading and am lucky enough to (usually) have enough time to read a decent amount. However, I tend to go through peaks and troughs with my reading and would to have a reason to read more consistently. I love both fiction and non-fiction and don’t really have a preferred genre, although I am not into serious gothic or horror etc due to an overactive imagination! I would love to be able to discuss books with like-minded individuals, share recommendations, and enjoy good company. I am happy for meet ups to be tea/coffee and cake during the day, or wine and nibbles in the evening (both sound bliss!).

Looking to sound out if there is any interest to set up a base for a war gaming community in Bishops Stortford Hertfordshire. The brewery where I work, The Belgian Brewer, has a large event space plus a Taproom that would be ideal for meets/gaming/modelling etc. We have the bonus of craft bier brewed on site, full bar and food available. Just got back into Warhammer Fantasy myself (The Old World) after a long break. Looking to get back into playing again and also hoping to improve (much improvement needed) on my painting and modelling ability.
