Seeking a book club

Hey, I'm Bibi. I'm a major movie buff trying to actually read books instead of just watching them. Looking to make some new friends and get back into reading. Definitely skip the romance and fantasy but I'm down for a solid thriller, drama, or realistic fiction!

Michael

Seeking a gaming group

Hi all! I am a 24M GM Looking to assemble an 3-6 player in-person group to play a range of roleplaying games. I'm interested in playing a lot of different indie and weird roleplaying games in various fantastical worlds like The Wildsea and Mythic Bastionland plus tonnes of others. One game I'm particularly interested in is 'Stonetop', a new fantasy TTRPG described as 'D&D for the 21st century'. I've personally been a GM for a couple of different systems over a 10ish year period, including, DnD, pathfinder and call of Cthulhu. I'm really keen to set up a regular group that meets in person at a pub/cafe/games cafe. The things I enjoy most are roleplaying, collaborative world building and telling an interesting story together, with rules and combat ultimately in service to narrative. I am very happy to help show people the ropes and I want to build a beginner friendly group where we all figure things out together. People of all backgrounds, identities and ages over 18 are very welcome :)

Seeking a book club

Hello. I'm an avid reader, always surrounded by books, buying books, talking about books, lol and I love talking about books. I am an eclectic reader though I'm not very keen on Biographies. Is there any bookclub in the area that I could join? Thank you!

Nico

Seeking a gaming group

Hi, I'm Nico (33 M). I have played in a long campaign before, but not for a long time. Would love to join a new one using the 2024 DnD rules. I love a mix of RP, combat, and world exploration. I'm more of a casual player, I can commit to a regular schedule, but I definitely appreciate the "Rule of Cool". Just looking for fun and like minded people!

Seeking a book club

I’m 17 and have loved reading forever, especially political and psychological books, such as anything by Marquez. I also find connecting over books is a great way to understand new perspectives and make friends, and so would love to do it more

jamjar16 recommends:

One Hundred Years of Solitude
by Gabriel Garcia Marquez | Learn more and buy
Marquez’s overarching, sprawling style makes you feel intensely nostalgic for a place and people who never even existed
