Gaming group

25/M, I have years of experience playing and running several different systems mostly dnd 5e, I am looking for a group of players for dagger-heart and its new expansion hope and fear, the system is very similar to dnd with a lighter rule-set and more focus on creating narrative events. I am a big fan of role-play and cool character moments. I am happy to teach and help new players with character creation and learning the system.

Anna

Seeking a gaming group

Hi! I’m Anna, 27F and I’m looking for an in-person D&D group to join as a player. I’ve been a homebrew DM for around 8 months, mostly playing online, and I’d really like to get some experience actually playing in person before I eventually try DMing an in-person campaign myself. I’m pretty comfortable with D&D and roleplay, but still new to the in-person side of things. I am up for anything when is comes to theme but my favourites are horror, dark fantasy, steampark or the usual fantasy adventure, I usually like playing utility over damage such as an alchemist or summoner but keeping it to the DND 5e i would like to try out paladin, artificer, bard or druid. Hope to play with ye!

Seeking a gaming group

I am a DM looking for players. This will be a new-player-friendly game using DND 2024 rules. Games will be hosted mondays at CGC in worthing at 5 or 6pm Game will be roleplay heavy but will involve some combat but combat will always be optional Game will be set all over the realm so there will be a lot for characters to experience.

Vampire the Masquerade! I'm looking to start running a Vampire the Masquerade campaign. The sessions will be in person in a pub or game store in worthing, west sussex. I'm hoping to run every week, the day will be determined based on the availability of the people who attend. The game will be set in 2010 and we will be starting from scratch so any new players will get all the help building their characters and learning the setting. Please contact me if youre interested.

Josh

Seeking a gaming group

We’re Josh and Lauren, a couple in Worthing looking for a consistent D&D 5e group, preferably in person within 30 minutes, although we’re open to online. Josh has played in three campaigns and has some DM experience; Lauren knows the mechanics and has played a two-player adventure but is new to a full group. We enjoy a balanced mix of combat, exploration, puzzles and roleplay, with a fun tone that can still get serious. Looking for a reliable, beginner-friendly group where choices and dice results matter. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly works for us.

Rardiu

Seeking a gaming group

I’m 25 and moving to Worthing to start work in Brighton. I would love to find a group to play with in person! I’ve been playing DnD since I was 17, and love any and all ttrpgs. Since I’m new to the area I’d love to get back into the irl dnd scene and make new friends locally!

age 75. Read a lot more since retiring. Some of my favourite authors are EL Doctorow, Tim Gautreaux, Annie Proulx, Barbara Kingsolver and so many more. I dislike fantasy/science fiction but would love to discuss any book within reason.

I've always been a reader - anything that's well written. Have been re-reading Slow Horses lately, not just because of the TV adaptation, but also because Mick Herron is such a gifted writer. His books make me laugh out loud. I love to talk about good books I've read and to get ideas from others as to what to read next. My partner is heavily into fantasy fiction but I can't seem to get my head round that particular genre but I'm willing to be encouraged in any direction. I'm now retired. Do the usual stuff - walking a fair bit, enjoy cinema, and am a sucker for a good glass of red with any kind of cheese. Would love to meet some more people in the area, not just to talk books but can't think of a better way to get to know others.

Rob

Seeking a book club

We ga=have recently started a book group in Worthing that meets about once every four weeks. Our next book in The Calculation of Volume by Solvej Balle. It's not a maths text book but a thoughtful novel about a woman who gets stuck in the 18th November. A sort of Groundhog Day, but more thoughtful. We are nest meeting on Monday 13th April at 7 pm.

This is a fascinating account of a woman who is stuck in time. Tara wakes up one morning to find that she is reliving the same day, the 18th Novelber to be exact. A gripping account about how we iive our lives and what we take for granted. It's a bit scifi, a bit philosophy and beautifully written.
