Seeking a book club

33 year old, Mum of 3! Love to spend my nights, getting invested in a book to wind down. I adore thrillers and am absolutely obsessed with Freida Mcfadden. Would love to join a book club with no pressure as having 3, isn't easy!

Seeking a book club

I've recently moved from Cornwall where I was part of an active book club to West Sussex and though not an avid reader I would like to belong to a group for social reasons as well as the introduction of new books. I enjoy fiction and non fiction. I suppose I go for psychological thrillers and books that make you think but I'm open to reading anything within reason.

I read every single night, and my poor bookshelf is bursting at the seams. I love stories with great characters and ones that stick with you. A few of my favourites are Throne of Glass (I can’t resist a good fantasy), One Day (because it broke my heart in the best way), and Cleo and Frank (I love a messy, modern love story). I wanted to join a book club as my poor partner is probably sick of hearing me rambling on and waking them up in the night to tell them a plot twist!!

Katie

Seeking a book club

I love reading romance books mostly and a bit of fantasy/romantasy. Looking to make new bookish friends around my age (late 20’s/30’s) to chat books with and maybe meet up and form a book club.

My favourite book that I’ve read so far this year! It deals with loss, grief and having to move forward in such a funny, messy, chaotic and relatable way. Perfection.

I have always been an avid reader and being part of a bookish community encourages me to read a broader spectrum and explore worlds I would usually pass over.

Helen

Seeking a book club

I love being drawn into a book, when you just have to have a quick 2 pages before you can carry on with your day! It is only recently, as I no longer work full time, that I feel I have time to indulge in a book. I am looking to meet similar people, and to read books I wouldn’t necessarily choose myself.

I enjoyed the different relationships that the main character, Janice, had with others in the story.

I love books. I’ve always been interested in the written word. How a story can be interpreted in so many ways. I would love to meet people who share my passion

Seeking a gaming group

I am looking for a gaming group in the Petworth / Chichester / Arundel area for a friend who is interested in giving roleplaying a try. He lives near Petworth. Would anyone be kind enough to supply me with information regarding gaming groups in these three areas. In the past have I have played and GM'd campaigns for Call of Cthulhu, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Pendragon and Paranoia. Many thanks Nick
