Im Mollie, im quite open to many books, i dont really like reading saucy books, but i love fantasy and adventure books. Some of my all time favourites are The hobbit, Harry potter and Inkheart. Im looking to make more social connections and can meet up most weekends but due to work and my own hobbies it may be 2 out of 4 weeks a month. Mainly read on a kindle, I enjoy most genres but not Sci Fi, I enjoy reading fiction and non fiction. Love a character driven narrative. John Irving is inventive, and quirky, his characters are so well written they feel real .The book spans a generation so it feels like an epic but it's not daunting. The characters stayed with me long after I finished the book and Owen has such a unique voice literally and figuratively, it makes you fall in love with humanity and friendship. It's like a modern Dickens or Mark Twain , but it's long so if that puts you off try the audiobook.
