Seeking a gaming group

29M, new to DnD and new to Cambridge! I’ve watched DnD podcasts and played Baldur’s Gate 3, so I kinda know the general rules about 5e, but have never played any TTRPG before. Down for one-shots or recurring weekly sessions if you are open for me to learn while playing!

This is a historical novel, and I love how it combines an adventurous style with historical accuracy and intuition. The prose is very beautifully written. Luther Blisset is a collective author, which afterwards turned into Wu Ming. Wu Ming has also written many other great historical novels.

John Rees (J D Rees) (Cambridge)

Seeking a book club

Warm Fantasy is my main genre for reading and writing. Inspired by Terry Pratchett. Readable biographies , though not of most sports players, and genuine memoirs of military folk are good. Books about regional life in all areas of the world are of interest. Weather, geology. geography, writing including poetry are also of interest.

Dan (Cambridge)

Gaming group

Returning to the hobby after a long hiatus. Recently, I've played online and at conventions, and am keen to find a regular group for face to face gaming in Cambridge. I have run Dungeon Crawl Classics and Dragonbane and played plenty of D&D, Runequest and Call of Cthulhu. 56M

Caroline (Huntingdon)

Seeking a gaming group

I played two D&D campaigns that fizzled out after a couple of sessions when I was in university. However, after recently listening to some D&D playthroughs (Tales from the Stinky Dragon, GIGGS D&D), it's inspired me to want to try playing with a group again! Definitely a beginner but with some knowledge of D&D, and open to learning other TTRPGs. I'm available most evenings Sun/Mon/Tues/ Weds/Thurs. I live in St Ives near Huntingdon but willing to travel a bit. 28F
