Ellie

Seeking a book club

I have been a book lover for my whole life and am looking to meet people/make friends who have similar interests. I like reading classics and crime, but am open to other genres

Ellie recommends:

Death on the Nile

by Agatha Christie | Learn more and buy

Agatha Christie’s books are great if you like an intricate plot and a twist. I have read lots of her books but this one stands out as one of my favourites. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s thinking about venturing into Christie’s literature

Greadsbooks

Seeking a book club

I have been looking for a local book club to join for a while but struggle to find one that is in the evenings or weekends. I work full time as a secondary school English teacher and would love to discuss books to people who have a love for reading.

Greadsbooks recommends:

Where the Crawdads sing

by Delia Owen’s | Learn more and buy

I love the mystery of the book but mostly the vivid descriptive imagery created by Owens.

Abbie

Seeking a book club

I love reading a wide variety of books but really struggle to make the time. I'm hoping a book club will help me find the time as I have ADHD so love a deadline haha! I love reading fantasy, romance, mystery and sci fi books!

Rhian

Seeking a book club

I love reading and stories but have a very busy life with a full time career and a toddler, so I don't have as much time for reading as I'd like. I love lots of different genres, but particularly fantasy, mystery and thriller.

Rhian recommends:

Lord Loss

by Darren Shan | Learn more and buy

It's the start of a very clever fantasy/horror series that I loved as a teenager.
