I am a Female 22. Love reading fantasy, sci-fi and romance books. But always happy to read something new. Looking for a book club to actuallly be able to talk about and discuss the books I love, read and get recommendations from people.

It has everything in one book series. And I could go on for hours about this book series and this book. It’s exceptional. Fantasy but done in a way that could make sense. Strong female characters. Amazing world building and relationships.

Fantasy author and RPG enthusiast with a strong interest in niche quasi historical games such as Pendragon and Dragon Warriors - but I grew up playing D&D too! Always wanted to try Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay too

I’m an old geezer in Ealing - I’ve come back to playing RPGs - system agnostic - happily playing in a club in Chiswick mostly one shots so looking for a campaign nearby still a beginner but very enthusiastic.

Written in Colour Book Club

Book club

Written In Colour is a community-led book club dedicated to celebrating global narratives and marginalized voices. We believe in literature as a vital art form and a powerful tool for community connection. Our sessions are designed to be "third spaces"—welcoming, high-quality environments where we move beyond the page to engage in meaningful cultural discourse. Whether we are hosting a "Silent Read" social, a community book swap, or a deep-dive discussion on masterpieces like Yaa Gyasi’s Homegoing, the focus is always on good books and better company. We are currently running sessions at the Woolwich Front Room (SE18) and the Black Cultural Centre (Islington). Inclusive & Accessible: All sessions are free to attend/donation-based. The Vibe: Low pressure, high inspiration. Who it’s for: Anyone who wants to diversify their bookshelf and connect with fellow residents in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. Come and help us turn stories into conversation.

Seeking a gaming group

Hey! I live in stockwell and I am a DM for 20+ years. I’m looking for experienced players who are keen to build a regular in-person D&D group together. This is for people who are: • Reliable and genuinely keen to play • Interested in a long-term group, not one-offs • Gay / LGBTQ+ and comfortable in an exclusively gay group. If this sounds like you, please get in touch with me.

Seeking a book club

I’m 24, and moved to Hainault/ilford some months ago. I’d love to make friends who are into books so we can have meet ups and buddy read together. My favourite genres are fantasy, romantasy, thriller and horror although I’m happy to try any book! I’d also be happy to start my own book club if I can’t find any to join

Seeking a gaming group

Recently moved to Clapham and looking to join a D&D group, 5 or 5.5. Ideally looking for a long term campaign but happy with one off sessions too. I'm best suited to groups that like to have a good laugh with wacky plays. Mid thirties but happy to join any age group for those who would welcome me. Decent theoretical knowledge on the game but limited practical experience so might require a bit of upskilling at the start.

I've been playing for a couple of years 5th edition and I'm keen to pick up a weekend game. I DM a game currently so would prefer to play but equally happy to DM for a bit to help a group find its feet. Based in SE London. Mid-thirties.

Seeking a book club

I am a 22 year old university student wanting to discuss books and make new friends! I love reading however I don’t spend as much time reading as I would like, so joining a book club seems like the perfect opportunity to motivate myself into doing it more. My favourite genres are fantasy (especially dark fantasy/fairytale books) and adventure. I enjoy reading classics from time to time, and also manga. :))

A dark fairytale based on Russian folklore. Beautifully written with twists and turns and, most importantly, magic!!

Hey I'm Jack. I'm 26. Been living in London for over 4 years and would really love to give DND a try. I have a basic grasp of the rules, but would still be a beginner to playing with other people. I like watching critical role and playing BG3 so that's where most of my basic understanding comes from. Looking for a longer term campaign, happy for a mix of storytelling and combat. LGBT friendly would be great. Ideally in person but also open to online!
