New to playing but have watched hundreds of hours of gameplay so I’m far from a beginner just that none of my friend groups really play. Open to one shots, starting a short or longer campaign. Mainly DnD 5e but open to learning others.

Hi! I’m looking to join a book club around Falkirk/central Scotland 📚I am mid twenties I’m easygoing, enjoy a good chat, and like reading a mix of genres — especially anything with a bit of mystery or strong characters. Always up for trying new books too. Mainly just looking to meet new people, have good discussions, and get back into reading regularly 🙂 Let me know if you’ve got space or are starting a group!

Im a 28 year old woman from Norway looking to find friends in the Glasgow/Falkirk/Stirling/Edinburgh area! I read just about anything, but my soft spots are classics and greek myths. Looking for a book club to get to meet new lovely people and read some great books at the same time 🙏🏻

Aurora recommends:

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
The Picture of Dorian Gray

Even if you have heard about the premise, it is still an intriguing story with interesting characters. Oscar Wilde is predominantly a poet and this is his only novel, and almost every sentence is like poetry. So vivid, colourful and stunningly beautiful. The whole book reads like silk imo

In 50's now, not played in many years, but i still feel the urge to get back into it, Played DnD, Warhammer fantasy, call of chatulu, WFRP was my main, 1 that i enjoyed hosting, more of a low fantasy, enjoyed the roleplaying not that dice roles more. I still own 2nd edition of WFRP and most of the modules in hardback, Death on the reich, power behind the throne in perfect condition. I'd love to host or play, if i host rules are optional to a degree, i like the players actions to define the game and enjoy bring characters to life.

I work in books so constantly talking about them, but often find myself wishing I had a group to chat about what I'm reading just for fun! Early 30s, would be great to connect with some bookish locals in Falkirk ☺️

Project Hail Mary

A book that really surprised me in 2025! Not at all something I'd usually pick up but the audio book came highly recommended. It's so well narrated and a brilliant story. Coming as a film with lovely Ryan Gosling this year too!

I love reading and listening to audio books. I enjoy most books but I am really into phycological thrillers at the moment. I am enjoying books by Freida McFadden and Alice Feeney just now.

Hi I enjoy reading but have kind of got stuck in a rut recently and want to rediscover my love for it. Ideally I'd like to find a book club that meets during the day (school time ideally) as I have caring responsibilities that make evenings out difficult.

I know this might sound cliché, but believe me when I tell you, I could NOT put this book down! The amount of times I gasped out loud and felt a chill run down my spine, AMAZING! I would highly recommend.

Experienced TTRPG player (in my early 30s) but not played for a while, and only lightly played D&D 5th ed, mostly having played 3.5. Looking to play mostly D&D, but up for trying other types as well. Looking for a light hearted and relaxed group, focused on fun
