Seeking a book club
I am considering setting up a book club and it would be helpful if you could let me know if this is something you would be interested in. October 2026 post. Please let me know what you would expect in terms of location and frequency - and anything else which might be useful! Whitehaven based but could be wider afield. Had to put cockermouth as Whitehaven not listed!

I'm moving to the area and reigniting my interesr in reading. Mainly fantasy and crime but love disvovering new stuff outside if these. I would like to meet up with those who like books, walks and nature and meet local people socially. I don't take myself too seriously and hope to buy in the area eventually so want to find my people while finding good reads.

I am looking for people to read and discuss books with! I am a big fan of a range of genres but Iβm really into both fantasy and contemporary fiction at the moment. Some five star reads from this year would be The Glutton, Boulder and Arrangements In Blue.
