I've recently started a small informal book group in the village of Holmesfield, near Dronfield. We meet on the 2nd Thursday/month, 7.30 - 9.00pm at the George & Dragon pub in the village. We'd love to welcome more folks who love reading and would like to share their finds with others.

I tend to gravitate toward thrillers, dramas, and the occasional romance, but Iām always open to discovering something new. I would love to join a local book club to meet new people and talk about books. I read a wide variety of books and have no specific genre that I favour, from Sci-fi to romance and crime, thrillers and historic novels. Some of my favourites are Where the Crawdads sing, Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine, Dune and of course Jane Austin. I always like to read the book before watching the film too! I cant wait to hear everyone's book recommendations.
