We are looking for DM for our group of 4 /5 experienced DnD players. We are open to any level of Experienced DM, and like a mix of roleplay and combat. Got our own terrain, models and boards, and a good place in Derby town centre.

Beth (Ilkeston)

Seeking a gaming group

I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons for just over a year and have been DMing a long-term campaign of my own for the last 6 months. I'm missing being a player, so am looking for a game to join.

Levestra (Alfreton)

Seeking a gaming group

I have played with a group before and DMed a few one shots for my friends, looking for more of a committed group, possibly starting in the new year as I'm quite busy at the moment. I'll be 16 by then. I normally play spellcasters like druids or sorcerers and I am willing to be in a more roleplay heavy campaign. I also use they/them pronouns. I can get to Chesterfield, Alfreton, Mansfield, and possibly other places in Derbyshire.

HackerReader (Derby)

Seeking a book club

Hi there, I’m looking to share my love of reading and discussing underlying themes with likeminded people. I love scifi, western and classical books the most. I also like to read philosophy. There’s nothing better than tea and a good book on lazy Sunday

Charlotte (Ripley)

Seeking a gaming group

I have played 1 1/2 campaigns with the same group of people within DND 5e (2014 & 2024), looking to join another group using DND 5e (2024). I'm shy to begin with but once comfortable I become quiet vocal within the group.

Lena (Buxton)

Seeking a book club

I’ve always loved reading, and last year I finally got back into it in full swing. I found myself reading a ton of Agatha Christie and other whodunit novels—I love a good mystery and trying to piece together the clues before the big reveal! Beyond mysteries, I’m interested in all things literature and enjoy exploring new authors and titles as well as going back to the classics. One of the more recent novels I read was Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult, which I really enjoyed. I’m also new to the Buxton area and would love to join a book group as a way to meet new people, make some friends, and connect with others who genuinely love to read. I’m looking forward to discovering books I might not have picked up on my own, sharing thoughts and recommendations, and, of course, having some fun conversations along the way.

Its an amazing tale of many generations of the same family leaving through pain, love, loss. Its a tale of humanity in a miniature version.

Tom (Derby)

Seeking a gaming group

New to Derby, keen to form or join an in person weekday evening type group to meet people and have a nice fun weeknight thing to look forward to. In my 30s, been playing since a little before 5e came out. I've played a fair few systems and oscillate wildly on whether I prefer playing or gming, so would be happy to run or play. When I GM, I find 5E hard to run and love to explore other systems/games, like Numenera/cypher system (weird science fantasy), Delta Green (x files investigate cthulhu), OSR games, powered by the apocalypse and more. I'm currently trying to write the beginnings of a climate fiction cyberpunk heist campaign using forged in the dark.
