Seeking a book club
Iâve always loved reading, and last year I finally got back into it in full swing. I found myself reading a ton of Agatha Christie and other whodunit novelsâI love a good mystery and trying to piece together the clues before the big reveal! Beyond mysteries, Iâm interested in all things literature and enjoy exploring new authors and titles as well as going back to the classics. One of the more recent novels I read was Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult, which I really enjoyed. Iâm also new to the Buxton area and would love to join a book group as a way to meet new people, make some friends, and connect with others who genuinely love to read. Iâm looking forward to discovering books I might not have picked up on my own, sharing thoughts and recommendations, and, of course, having some fun conversations along the way.

Duffield Chatterbooks
Book club
The Chatterbooks group, hosted by Cathy Petersen and supported by Derbyshire County Council - Libraries, is open to all, and meets at Duffield Library, located at Wirksworth Road, Duffield, Derbyshire, DE56 4GH. participants can enjoy discussing different books and topics each month. New members are welcome!

A monthly discussion group hosted by Annabel Wilson at the Buxton Library on the first Monday of the month. Participants can borrow books from the library related to the chosen topic, which can range from history to science, people, and places.
