I’ve lived in the area about a year but don’t know many people locally so would like to find some book friends 😊 I like crime, fantasy, a bit of a romance, historical fiction, a big mixture really. Would like to find a group near Alfreton to meet up maybe once a month to chat books and socialise.

I’m a 30 year old woman, who found her long lost love for reading again now that I became a mum. I’d love to be a part of a book club with similar aged people. My favourite books include the Hunger Games series, Harper Lee - To kill a mockingbird, and Ana Huang’s Twisted series. As you can tell, I’m not set on a genre.

My go-to is always mystery/murder books, but I love reading outside of my comfort zone. I'd like to find a few other book lovers to meet up every couple of months and have a good discussion as well as a good laugh!

I’m trying to be a self published writer and would like the group’s opinions on my work as all constructive criticism is welcome. My work is time travel sci fi. So I wondered if you could help make a lonely up hill struggle a little easier. Thanks
