Seeking a gaming group

My husband and I looking for people for a tabletop campaign. Like to play Call of Cthulhu and DnD and happy to give other systems a go. We can't do Fridays or weekends though, so preferably a group that meets Mondays or Wednesdays.

Thehunt_ed (Camberley)

Seeking a gaming group

I would like to find a group to hang out and I am interested in fantasy adventures such as dungeons and dragons 5e. I donโ€™t really interact with people much but I am hoping to find a dnd campaign as a player. I enjoy dnd because of the roleplay aspect and the combat but my favourite part is exploring other characters backstories as well as my own.

Kirsty (Oxted)

Seeking a book club

Iโ€™m a 38 year old mum of a toddler who recently moved to Oxted. Looking to meet other book lovers (I particularly like sci fi and contemporary books). Recently read and loved: Project Hail Mary - Andy Weir / I Who Have Never Known Men - Jacqueline Harpman / Among Others - Jo Walton. / Currently reading: Babel / Notes on an Execution (audio book)

Kirsty recommends:

I Who Have Never Known Men

Iโ€™ve never read anything like this before. Is it sci fi? Is it fantasy? Is it dystopian? Who knows, you make your own mind up! But somehow whether you like any of the above genres or not, you will feel so strongly about the story for reasons you may not be able to fathom for some time. It will grip you and leave you obsessed for months.

George (30) (Haslemere)

Seeking a gaming group

Looking to find out if there's any D&D players based in the Haslemere/Guildford/Dorking area who want to immediately join a game which has just started - we're looking for another player to join us (we're two sessions in!). Our small group is a mixture of new and experienced players. We play approximately once a month on a Tuesday at 7pm in a pub near Guildford. New players very welcome! ๐Ÿ˜

Ellie (Walton-on-Thames)

Seeking a book club

I spend a lot of time reading research papers for work, but lately Iโ€™ve been getting back into reading for pleasure and self-development. After a busy stretch, itโ€™s been refreshing to dive into books again โ€” especially fiction and non-fiction that explore feminism, humanity, and psychology. Hoping to connect with other thoughtful readers who enjoy deep thinking, sharing ideas and chatting about life through the lens of great books.

Ellie recommends:

Bloodchild and Other Stories by Octavia E. Butler

Rebecca (Farnham)

Seeking a book club

I like crime, thriller, romcom, some classics and a touch of fantasy- an all rounder I guess! I work from home so Iโ€™d like to meet people with an interest in reading and get out of the house a bit more socially. Iโ€™d be up for daytime coffee or glass of wine in the evening.
