Natalya (Guildford)

Seeking a book club

Hi, I moved to Guildford this summer and am now looking to connect with a community of like-minded people. I came across your book club and would be very interested in joining. I read widely and especially enjoy contemporary English literature, though not exclusively. I would be glad to take part in your upcoming meetings and contribute to the discussions. Please let me know if there is space to join and whether there is anything I should read or prepare in advance. Best, Natalya

Steve (Redhill)

Seeking a book club

I’m 50 and live in Redhill, I’m a Book addict with a soft spot for Stephen King, classic fantasy, and a good murder mystery. If it’s dark, twisty, or full of magic, I’m in. Always looking for the next story I can’t put down.

John (Guildford)

Gaming group

New DM haven't really played since the 90's D&D (Old days of THACO for those who know.) I am looking at running a D&D campaign. I am going to start with the new D&D Starter set 2025, Hero's of the Borderlands. However I will be looking to take that game when completed on to the next stage and have been writing a follow on campaign/story based on a great game. I played years ago but with my own twist I think adventures will enjoy. I am looking at a max of 4 players

Miah (Chertsey)

Seeking a book club

Im 27 and an avid reader who mostly reads romance, fantasy and thrillers. Would love to connect with people who are passionate about books as much as I am.

This book completely swept me away. From the very first chapters, I was drawn in by its eerie, gothic, and whimsical atmosphere , dark yet beautiful, like a gothic fairy tale. The pacing was smooth with no dull moments, and the mystery built gradually throughout the book kept me invested. And has a slow burn romance.
