Loved everything about this book, and so has everyone I leant it to 😊

Captivating storyline following a family through generations. I also loved the interesting details of how the old churches were built and the way of life in the 12th century era.

This has so much depth and meaning. Since I learned about Mary Shelley and her troubled life I have found the book so moving - it describes her own trauma.

If you like self-help books that pack a punch, filled with "wows" by an extremely knowledgeable author, then this is the book for you. It inspired me.

I've always loved Beth as an author and I think her books are lovely to read. The switch was definitely my favourite because I instantly clicked with the characters and just thought it was lovely book to read and get hooked on the relationships and connections made within the book. I would definitely recommend it!

Incredibly powerful story of survival, self-realisation and courage. Have loved this book since I first read it for my A' Level English class. It's challenging but rewarding to work with the phonetic structure the author used to convey the linguistics of the time, place and situation. Love it.
