Clare (Rochester)

Seeking a book club

30 Year old Booktok Girlie based near Rochester, Kent. I've been toying with the idea of starting or joining a book club for some time now. I assumed these usually started with a group of friends but my friends aren't big readers so hasn't really worked out. Would love some help in setting up for Women in their 20s, 30s, 40s etc to enjoy a nice glass of wine and chat about some great new reads. My typical genre would be Romance, Thrillers & a little bit of Fantasy but open to all :) https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/148138770-clare-murphy

Sofia (Beckenham)

Seeking a book club

I’ve always loved reading and my TBR list is very long; however, I’ve been going through a non-reading period for a few months now and I think joining a book club would help me get back into reading.

Twice19 (Ebbsfleet)

Seeking a gaming group

I played a few TTRPG’s many, many years ago (mostly Inquisition, some homebrew Fallout style too), but I’ve never played D&D. I’ve been listening to a great real-play D&D podcast recently and it has me in the mood to get playing! Total newbie, but I’m familiar with the rules and mechanics etc. It would be a great way to meet some people and make some friends too!

Seeking a book club

I’m a working Mum (late night reader!), 39 going on 20 and am mainly into dystopian, gothic horror/thriller, historical and comedy. Want to find a book group in the Bromley area.

Bookgal85 recommends:

Unpopular opinion but I preferred this book to the first - obviously you do need to have read The Handmaid’s Tale for The Testaments to make sense, and even better if you’ve seen the TV series after the first book, as an in-between filling.
Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart

Gritty realism with a backdrop of 1980s Glasgow, this book tells the story of family dramas and the inner torment of a young boy growing up in chaos.
