dani (Tonbridge)

Seeking a gaming group

I am an enby (they/them) nerd in their 20s and I have been playing for 9 years and GM-ing for 7. I have a big library of games I am dying to run and am always looking for more people to play with. I mostly run my own games primed by Cortex as well as the occasional game of D&D - very invested in the improvised character-first roleplay side of TTRPGs.

Seeking a book club

Iโ€™m a mom of 2 teenage girls and absolutely love reading. I like different genres from classics, to cosy crime, historical fiction and fantasy. Iโ€™m always happy to discover different authors. Iโ€™d love to join a book club to meet people who share my love of reading, maybe meeting monthly.

I'm a complete newbie who barely knows the rules of any TTRPGs but would love to try and learn! I'd also love to meet new people and make friends outside of just the sessions!

Indie TTRPGS Cranbrook (Cranbrook)

Gaming group

I am in my late 20s and have been playing various Indie TTRPG systems for 5+ years, and so has my other player. Looking to form a group that will pick up and play a variety of indie TTRPGs for mini campaigns (5-10 sessions) with the potential to do a longer-form campaign if the mood strikes. We are both queer and so are our characters, and are ideally looking for fellow queer players. Sessions will likely be every other week in person. No start date set yet as waiting for the group to form to do so.

Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman

It's a great mix of silly fun and thought provoking storylines. I was wary of this book because of the intense hype around it. However I was a great story with fantastic characters.
Magician by Raymond E Feist

Spectacular world building, great magic system, lovable characters. Don't let the chonk of the book put you off

Everything! One of my all time favourite series. It's slow going to start with but man does it become epic.
The Rats
by James Herbert | Learn more and buy
The author writes a thriller/horror that makes it feel like the scenario could actually happen. Amazing writing.

Jacky (Tunbridge Wells)

Seeking a book club

I think book lovers are usually good conversationalists, and as I'm a bit of an introverted gran, am looking to join a book club. My books for a desert island would be Howl's Moving Castle, Pride and Prejudice and How to Survive on a Desert Island.
